Listing Mists of Pandaria: Throne of Thunder Raid (5.2) Items

The purpose of this site is to provide easy-to-use gear lists for all classes in World of Warcraft PVE content.

If you've ever wondered about what gear to use with your World of Warcraft character, this site will point you in the right direction.  WoWBIS differs from traditional item databases like Wowhead because we only list gear you're interested in in a presentable format.  Because of this you'll save time looking for the items you want.  Don't like the way we value certain stats to generate our lists?  Get premium and use our customizable weights that you can tweak to your liking and have the listings update according to them.  To get started select a class and spec from the menu at the top of the page.

Free Access

For free all visitors view the top four items in each slot as well as the best in slot overview for all specs.  If you want to view the complete list of items you can get a premium subscription for a variable length of time. Premium gives you access to stat weight filtering, all ranked items in the slot, and more.  For a full overview of what you get, visit the subscription page. This site is subscriber-based to support it into the future and to keep it updated for new WoW patches and expansions.

How We Rank Items

This site uses stat priorities derived partially from class discussion at Elitist Jerks and other WoW sites.  The goal of our weights is twofold:

• Obtain the correct order of valued stats
• Obtain an estimated degree of separation of valued stats that accurate ranks items for your spec

The reason the stat weights here are approximated and not precise is twofold:

• It is not feasible to actively maintain every stat weight for all 36 of the specs covered here
• Real (imperfect) gameplay only dictates that we have the order and rough magnitude of differing stat values to get an accurate list of the best gear

As previously mentioned, item rankings can change based on how you personally value a stat and can be modified if you get a premium subscription.
